Sheffield Wednesday manager Jos Luhukay has been previewing the big Championship kick-off this weekend as we face newly promoted Wigan Athletic at the DW Stadium.
Meeting with the media to hold his first real press conference of the new campaign, the clubs social media team sent out the following tweet as he answered the assembled packs questions.
???? JL: We have made the decision on the captain for the season and you will see that on Saturday #swfcLIVE

Plenty of Owls fans will have their own thoughts on who should be selected to lead us for the coming 2018/19 campaign following the departure of Glenn Loovens and his subsequent signing for Sunderland as a free agent and all summer long some names have stood out ahead of others.
It was no great surprise to see those names come back to the fore as fans reacted to his statement.
It was also no great surprise to see some fans express exasperation at why such a simple question needs to have an answer that’s surrounded in mystery – it’s not a question about an embargo or a question about the transfer kitty – it’s only the skipper.
