The time has come after two and a half years in charge of Vital Wednesday, for myself to step aside and hand the reigns over to budding sports journalist and enthusiastic Wednesdayite Tom Sellers to take the Vital Owls site and social channels forward as the site`s new editor.
It’s been a real blast over the last two and half years and I really couldn’t imagine how much fun heading up a fans site. The Vital Wednesday page wasn’t in the best shape beforehand, and where we are now in terms of hits and social media involvement is phenomenal. Particularly, the experience has been boosted by building up great relationships with the club, players, staff and other Owls supporter groups and pages plus supported charities along the way.
I have enjoyed every moment as site editor and with my new job role and family commitments, now is the time for me to have a break at weekends and of course late night midweek matches.
I can’t wait to see the new ideas and opinions from our new editor Tom.
I’d like to show some appreciation and firstly, I’d also like to take the chance to say THANK YOU to everyone of you!!!! Those of you who have read, used and visited the site, interacted with Vital Wednesday on social media as you all make maintaining and updating this Wednesday fans website a lot more fun and worthwhile.
To my team of writers, a big THANK YOU as without you this site would have been as up to date, fun or as successful as it’s been during my time as editor. That’s you Greg, Tom, Molly, Dan, Josh, Matt, Charlie and Martin. To the guys at VitalHQ a big thank you too!
