“It’s Been A Pleasure” – Loanee Signs Off With Message To Wednesday Fans & They Want Him Back

With the arrival of manager Steve Bruce at Hillsborough late on during the January transfer window, one of his quick additions was Newcastle United winger Rolando Aarons.

The 23-year-old has struggled with injuries in recent times and with other issues at Newcastle as well, it looks like his future may lie away from them. With six starting appearances to his name, along with a further three showings from the bench, he chipped in with one goal and one assist and largely left a good impression on the Owls fanbase.

With the 2018/19 Championship campaign now at a close, the player now returns to his parent club and he sent the fans a message on social media this week.

A simple enough message, but it obviously doesn’t give an indication of his future or whether there have been tentative talks about a possible return over the summer, but that’s exactly what plenty of fans want as they responded to him on Twitter.
