Sheffield Wednesday and Hull City had something to celebrate at Hillsborough earlier today in this weekend’s Championship clash.

Both sides picked up their first points of the 2018/19 campaign as the match ended at 1-1.

Fraizer Campbell had given them the first half lead in the match, but Fernando Forestieri made it two goals in two games as he found the back of the net from the penalty spot in the 51st minute to tie the scores up level, and that was where the scoring ended on the day despite Wednesday having a number of opportunities to take all three points.

Building himself back up to full fitness, Steven Fletcher was the main culprit unfortunately as he hasn’t quite got his shooting boots on just yet, and had he have done so, he could’ve racked up three goals of his own potentially.

In amongst all the performances though, I can’t see anybody polling higher than our Argentine Italian. Let me know if you disagree but he does now have nine goals in his last 15 appearances according to the stato’s and he’s certainly hit the ground running this year even if the club themselves quite haven’t.
