Sheffield Wednesday drew 0-0 with Millwall on Saturday afternoon, but there were a number of players who came away with credit for their performances. Dominic Iorfa was one of them, having two goal-saving tackles to help Wednesday earn their first clean sheet for nearly a month.
Minutes into the game, he made an important tackle on Tom Bradshaw who nearly had a sight on goal. After the hour mark, the 24-year-old chased down Jón Dadi Bödvarsson who bearing down on Cameron Dawson, taking the ball with a sliding challenge. Fans were appreciative of his efforts.

Definitely felt like a game where both teams were focused more on not losing rather than trying to go and get 3 points. Highlighted somewhat by Iorfa being MOTM who was absolutely immense today #swfc

We don’t deserve Dominic Iorfa, unreal player stopped at least 2 certain goals tonight 😍 #swfc

Think Iorfa was very good at sweeping up today in sketchy moments but lacked awareness in the last minutes, Reach was also good today, ran tirelessly and looked like he wanted to work for the team. #swfc

Against Millwall, Iorfa played for 90 minutes, made 62 touches, won seven aerial duels, had two shots, attempted 36 passes, made eight clearances, whipped in one cross, made five tackles (100% success rate) and drew two fouls.
The 24-year-old has been a regular for Wednesday this season, making 29 appearances in all competitions, scoring and creating three goals. Iorfa has been one of the Owls’ most impressive players in 2019/20 and can hold his head high after Saturday’s stalemate.
Next up for Wednesday is a trip to face Barnsley at Oakwell on February 8.
