“I’m Really Up For It” – Report Claims Wednesday Target Has Signed A 3 Year Deal

All eyes at Sheffield Wednesday have turned to summer transfer captures for manager Steve Bruce as he looks to build on the momentum created when he first arrived at Hillsborough at the end of January. One quick link suggested that we would be interested in doing a deal for Arminia Bielefeld defender Julian Borner.

“Seems An Odd One” – These Wednesday Fans Are Perplexed By Latest Transfer Rumour

News quickly went quiet when it came to the 28-year-old but in fairness, few seemed to know anything about him other than he was a centre-half and that he was available as a free agent. With the speculation back in early May stating he’d been in Sheffield to discuss terms, German outlet NW.de have now finally claimed that a deal has been reached, and that an announcement will soon take place after he agreed a three year contract.

They quote the player himself as saying.

“I’m really up for it and I’m curious to see how I react to the new environment. I’ll have to work my way up to a new standing.”

At the time of writing, there has been no official confirmation of this but I guess that’s just waiting on international clearances etc to go through first.
