Wednesday have drawn npower Championship side West Ham United at Hillsborough in the third round of the FA Cup.

The Owls booked their place in the third round of the prestigious competition with a 1-0 victory over Aldershot at Hillsborough yesterday afternoon.

Gary Megson’s men have the advantage of a home tie in the next round, which was drawn today, against Sam Allardyce’s Hammers, who are flying high in second in the Championship as they target a quick return to the Premier League.

The match will be played over the weekend of January 7 and 8.

Other notable ties include Manchester City hosting Manchester United, Arsenal welcoming Leeds United and Sheffield United will host either Salisbury City or Grimsby.
