Exeter City officials are confident that tomorrow’s npower League One clash against Wednesday at St James’ Park will go ahead despite the recent snowfall in Devon.

The wintry weather hit Exeter last night but, with covers on the St James’ Park pitch, Grecians officials are positive that tomorrow’s game will not be postponed.

A statement on the official Exeter website said: ‘Unless the weather in the next 24 hours is much worse than currently forecast, supporters can be positive about the chances of the League One clash taking place.’

The club will also have helpers clearing any snow from around the stadium before tomorrow’s match to make the surrounding areas safe for supporters.

Exeter have seen a number of matches postponed in recent weeks due to the recent cold snap but are prepared for tomorrow’s game getting the green light.
