Wednesday boss Stuart Gray says his side will give their all to beat Charlton Athletic in the FA Cup tonight (kick-off 7.45pm) and book a quarter-final date with city rivals Sheffield United.

The Owls welcome Championship rivals Charlton to Hillsborough in the fifth round after the original fixture was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch at S6.

Now the sides know their fate should they progress, with the Blades awaiting the winners in the last eight and setting up a potential Steel City Derby – something the Addicks will be keen to spoil.

Gray says no team talk is required for tonight’s big clash and hopes the Wednesday faithful turn to at Hillsborough to act as a ‘twelfth man’.

“We`ll have a right good go. But there are 11 Charlton players who are going to try to make a difference,’ Gray told the Sheffield Star.

“Really, I don`t need any team talk. My only team talk is to the supporters – come and make it an unbelievable atmosphere. Get the players going and we`ll run ourselves into the ground.”

Tickets for the original match will still be valid tonight and discounted prices will remain on offer.
