Wednesday goalkeeper Lee Grant has seen his superb season continue by collecting the PFA Fans’ Championship Player of the Month gong for January.

The in-form stopper was named among the best players in the division when nominations for the gong were released last month.

And his tip-top form in between the sticks for the Owls has seen him take the award for January ahead of the likes of Reading’s Kevin Doyle and Wolves striker Sylvan Ebanks-Blake.

The former England under-21 goalkeeper has seen praise heaped on it this season following his performances in goal for Wednesday.

And those performances have seen the transfer rumour mill link him with a move to the Premier League, including a move to Manchester United.
