Former player Stephen Elliott has recently made the bizarre suggestion that to solve all of Sheffield Wednesday’s ills, we should appoint Roy Keane as our new manager.
Elliott knows the recent former Republic of Ireland assistant gaffer well as he played under him at Sunderland, but on social media the other day he felt he would be a good short-term option with pressure on current gaffer Jos Luhukay growing given our run of form, well, lack thereof.
Just looking at championship form and table and got me thinking. I could see Roy Keane going in at @swfc and turning it around. Could be a good short term option at least as he would create a huge lift at club which seems needed.

Keane as a player and his time at Manchester United obviously cannot be questioned, but as a manager he can be seriously questioned when it comes to applicable success. His abrasive personality might be good and refreshing to watch on television when it comes to the plethora of faux anger pundits or those who are bland but…
He'd just knock half the team out in week one.

Be a very short term appointment before it would go sour.

Some of the above comments say it all for me, coming into the dressing room like a hurricane would not solve anything, even in the short-term – it could easily make things worse.
