Former Premier League Winger Believed To Have Finalised Wednesday Deal

|

With reasonable speculation linking Sheffield Wednesday with a move for former Cardiff City attacker Kadeem Harris, speculation was rife on Wednesday that the player had now agreed terms at Hillsborough and completed his medical.

The 26-year-old versatile attacking midfielder made only 15 appearances for manager Neil Warnock in their Premier League campaign of 2018/19, but only five of those appearances were starts. 2017/18 wasn’t much better but he did make 38 appearances back in the 2016/17 season so I don’t know if injury got in the way or something?

His contract at the Cardiff City Stadium expires this summer and The Star claimed on Wednesday that sources close to the club had confirmed that personal terms were now finalised after he underwent a successful medical.

It’s believed he has signed a three year deal at the club and becomes another rumoured capture under Steve Bruce as he continues his plans for the coming campaign, albeit with no official confirmation yet with the soft Financial Fair Play embargo the EFL have slapped on us again.

He should follow in the footsteps of Julian Borner and Moses Odubajo and confirmation should soon be in once we meet the EFL’s requirements after filing our accounts late.
