With a quick turnaround in the Championship fixture list, Sheffield Wednesday faced a trip to The Den for a clash against Millwall earlier this evening.
With manager Steve Bruce seemingly having a real effect since he started at the beginning of the month, we were looking to make it four unbeaten, if not taking all three points from Neil Harris’ side.
After a goalless first half, travelling fans were treated to the exact same as we kept the unbeaten run with a scoreless draw. Bruce will take the positives of more possession and the clean sheet, but the hosts had more chances overall and four more than we managed (only two) on target, so the game could’ve easily turned against us.
At least there seems to be a backbone to the side at the moment and four unbeaten shouldn’t be sniffed at.
Speaking to the media following the end of the game, Bruce told the press.
“That’s eight out of 12 clean sheets and that takes some doing. So we’re getting it right at one end and now we need things to click into gear at the other…" #swfc

One side of the team sorted in his head, time for the other.
