Norwich City are set to be backed by a healthy following of Canaries fans as Peter Grant’s men make the trip to Hillsborough for the final match of the season this Sunday (kick-off 1pm).

Neither side has anything to play for going in to the final weekend of the Championship season after Wednesday’s slim hopes of a play-off spot were put to rest by defeat at Birmingham City last weekend.

But there will still be one of the highest crowds in the division on Sunday as two of the best supported clubs come to blow in the hope of ending the season on a high with three points.

The Carrow Road club have made it easier for fans to attend to clash in South Yorkshire by subsidising travel to S6 – with 14 coaches already making the long trip north and over 2,000 tickets already snapped up.

And the Canaries are expected to sell more with four days of ticket sales still remaining, and just under 1,000 tickets in the Leppings Lane upper tier still up for grabs.

Wednesdayites are also expected to turn out in full force to congratulate the team on a successful campaign under Brian Laws and will also be hoping to see their side finish on a high with another three points on home soil.
