Carlisle United are set to take their biggest away following for four years to Hillsborough this weekend for the top-of-the-table clash with the Owls.

The Cumbrians are set to bring an away following of around 2,000 to the West Stand at Hillsborough on Saturday – their biggest travelling army of fans since a game at Nottingham Forest in 2006.

United have already snapped up more than 1600 tickets for the clash and have an initial allocation of 2,400 for the match.

And it could be one of the biggest away followings at Hillsborough this season – with only Huddersfield Town likely to bring more as things stand.

The Blue Army have made a good start to the npower League One season, sitting second behind Wednesday, and can go top this weekend if they pick up a first ever win at S6.
