Owls club captain Lee Bullen picked up the ‘Wash and Go’ Good Sports award at the Football League awards on Sunday night.

The Scot picked up the award after playing in all 11 positions for the Owls during his two year stay at the club – which included a stint in goal resulting in an important three points against relegation rivals Millwall.

Bullen told Sky Sports: ”It was the first ever clean sheet by a Scottish goalkeeper. I’ve played in all 11 positions because the manager doesn’t fancy me in anyt of them!”

The former Dunfermline man has certainly been used as a utility man by Sturrock, with Bullen being kept out of his favoured right-back spot by American Frankie Simek.
