Defender Dominic Iorfa’s arrival during the last January transfer window from Wolverhampton Wanderers was always seen as a bit of a coup for former manager Steve Bruce and although he didn’t make his first appearance until mid-February, he had an immediate impact in the game against Rotherham United as he scored to help us to a point.

Having been highly rated at Wolves having come through their youth system, he only fell out of favour following their new owners arrival and change in tact, and he quickly established himself as a fan favourite at Hillsborough and he now boasts four goals to his name in 26 starts and three substitute showings.

With 17 appearances to his name already this season under Garry Monk, he’s continued to impress people and on Wednesday he was confirmed as our Player of the Month for November.

Given his importance to the side, fans were incredibly quick to respond to his message on social media and he certainly came in for some good praise, even if November wasn’t a great month points wise.
