Wednesday’s crunch final Championship match of the season against relegation rivals Crystal Palace could be shown on the BBC.

The Beeb have the rights to show ten Football League matches this season and still have one slot remaining for a match on the final day of the season.

And Vital Wednesday understands that the Owls’ potentially huge clash against Palace is the front-runner for the slot.

With the automatic promotion spots already decided with Newcastle United and West Brom, the relegation battle is set to continue until the final day.

And the Owls’ clash with the Eagles could be a potential ‘winner takes all’ clash.

The BBC have until Tuesday, April 27 to decide on which match they’ll be showing on the final weekend.
