Sheffield Wednesday’s terrific victory over Blackburn Rovers last Saturday certainly had a few talking points for fans post-game.
With plenty of good on display with the four goals coming from Steven Fletcher, Atdhe Nuhiu, Dominic Iorfa and Marco Matias, manager Steve Bruce picked out a bit of bad as well when it came to the two late goals we conceded.
4-2 is how history will remember the game and Bruce’s unbeaten run continues, as does our slim hopes of sneaking into the Play-Off spots this year given how tight things are at the top of the Championship table.
One massive plus continues to be the improving performances of Iorfa. Not only did he find the back of the net in the game, he was also credited with an assist across the 90 minutes (Fletcher’s opener).
Taking to social media following the fulltime whistle, Owls fans were delighted with his capture as he continues to impress and improve following his switch from Wolverhampton Wanderers in late January.
Iorfa could be the buy of the decade for Wednesday, he's good but he's only going to get better,he's only a kid. #wawaw

The lad's a beast, superb upper body strength, if Joao bulked himself up like Iorfa, he's be a top class player

The fact Bruce and his contacts could snap him up to is another huge plus. He’s injected pace into the team and suddenly we are winning games with ease

Enjoyed parts of that today – especially Liam Palmer’s performance. Oh, and Iorfa’s galloping runs down the wing which are my new favourite thing #swfc
