With the November international break now in full swing, Sheffield Wednesday have had some recent reason to cheer as we took a point from the Steel City derby when we faced the Blades before the current lull came into effect.
With the result bringing an end to four successive defeats as we secured a point from our last five games in the form table, whilst it may have brought some relief it obviously hasn’t ended the criticism and concern around the club given our recent nosedive once again.

The injury situation at the club, allied to those players who for all intents and purposes are fit, but are not in head coach Jos Luhukay’s plans – whether that’s his choice or not – continues to be a common theme for debate amongst fans and with the club offering up the above pictures on social media, it did really gain expected responses.

Why on earth would you post pictures showing all players who aren't in squad / being picked? Surely know it's going to get fans riled, players look like they're together and having fun anyways ???? #SWFC

They haven’t put the next shot online with 3 of the 4 hobbling back to the dressing rooms not to be seen for months

It you want to be optimistic given the players who did feature, maybe they are back to better fitness and can now be involved or maybe even it just means they are fit so we might get a bite in January and get them off the books.
