Former Wednesday midfielder Steve Adams will reunite with Paul Sturrock at Swindon Town this pre-season as he aims to secure a contract on a trial basis at the Robins, according to our sister site Vital Swindon Town.
Adams fell down the pecking order at Hillsborough since the arrival of new boss Brian Laws back in November of last season and was deemed surplus to requirements at S6 and allowed to leave the club.
And he now looks set to join fellow former Owls Lee Peacock and Barry Corr at the County ground as former Wednesday boss Paul Sturrock looks to build his squad for League One following promotion in his first year at Swindon last term.
The Plymouth-born midfielder has been invited to train with the club during pre-season as he looks to prove his fitness and earn a full-time contract with the club.
If successful, it will be the third club Adams has played at under Sturrock, having following the Scot to Hillsborough from his successful spell at hometown club Plymouth Argyle.
And he could yet be joined by more former Owls with defender Graham Coughlan – who has also played at Hillsborough and Plymouth with Adams – being linked with a move to reunite with Sturrock after also falling down the S6 pecking order.
