On Tuesday evening, Sheffield Wednesday booked themselves into the fourth round of the FA Cup for the season of 2018/19 as we took a 1-0 victory over Luton Town.

Atdhe Nuhiu’s 46th minute effort in the game was enough to decide the victory and avoid Wednesday becoming a headline and a lower league scalp this year, and it did draw a quick line under last Saturday’s heavy defeat to Hull City in the Championship campaign.

Skipper Tom Lees had an interesting game as although he played his part in keeping a fourth clean sheet in seven matches following the departure of former manager Jos Luhukay, one moment in the game certainly set tongues wagging on social media.

Whilst it seems plenty were willing to see the funny side of what could’ve been a calamitous error (and it brought back memories of some barnstorming own goals from history across football) it seems a number of fans were less than convinced with his overall performance on the evening.
