In Sheffield Wednesday’s entertaining 2-2 draw with West Bromwich Albion at Hillsborough on Wednesday, two men stood out for their individual performances on the day.

25-year-old Adam Reach continued his own improvement this season as he found the back of the net and statistics website WhoScored rewarded his showing with a rating of 7.56.

Fernando Forestieri just eclipsed him in the ratings to a score of 7.85 given his own efforts on target and the three key passes he contributed.

On loan Michael Hector came third in the poll with 7.21, and the top five best performers on the day were completed by Atdhe Nuhiu and Tom Lees.

As a comparison, West Brom also only had three players rate at seven or above, and their best man on the day, Harvey Barnes, topped out at 7.77.

Given Albion’s goal-scoring form in recent times in the Championship, it’s a solid point for Jos Luhukay’s side and sees us continue our own improvement as the week’s of the season tick by.
