2 Shots, 2 Key Passes & Most Wednesday Touches Takes 24 y/o To MotM

With a number of fans feeling that Sheffield Wednesday have developed a bit of a soft underbelly of late when it comes to our performance levels and results, Saturday’s draw with Swansea City at Hillsborough will do little to silence those questions.

Having fallen behind just after the half hour mark, manager Garry Monk saw his side fight back to level the scores when Fernando Forestieri hit back with nine minutes left on the clock and then one minute into stoppage time, Morgan Fox put us in front.

We couldn’t hold on though and in minute 94 they had tied it up at 2-2 to share the points.

Statistics website Whoscored had mixed player ratings after that one, although we did edge more seven plus scores.

Dominic Iorfa took their star man award for Man of the Match with a rating of 8.06, and the top five on the day were completed by Steven Fletcher (7.76), Morgan Fox (7.36), Jacob Murphy (7.16) and Atdhe Nuhiu (7.12).

Forestieri and Kieran Lee also picked up seven plus scores.
