The second Steel City of the 2018/19 Championship season ended exactly how the first one did – a scoreless stalemate at Hillsborough between Sheffield Wednesday and Sheffield United on Monday evening.

It was, in fact, the third straight stalemate between the sides in recent years and the point doesn’t do an awful lot for either side, but manager Steve Bruce will probably be the happier when compared to Chris Wilder as it protects our unbeaten run.

In a tight game that saw both sides register only a single shot on target, statistics website Whoscored reflected the match stats and had the players pretty level.

United had five with seven plus scores, and we had four players achieve that – but on loan Chelsea man Michael Hector took their star man rating with the best performance on the night to secure 7.79.

Completing our top five best performers in their system of ratings was Tom Lees (7.44), Steven Fletcher (7.38), Rolando Aarons (7.32) and Sam Hutchinson (6.98).

We remain unbeaten so onto the next one and some fans may take the joy in putting a spanner in their automatic promotion hopes.
