Saturday’s Championship action saw Sheffield Wednesday travel to Pride Park to face off against Frank Lampard’s Derby County side.

Derby have stuttered but still find themselves in the Play-Off spots and Wednesday have outside aspirations of their own following our unbeaten run under manager Steve Bruce and although we had to fight back from a 1-0 deficit, we kept that run on track with a 1-1 draw following Dominic Iorfa’s leveller just ahead of the hour mark.

Statistics website Whoscored had our goalscorer as their star man on the day giving him a player rating of 7.68 for his efforts.

Completing the top five best performers in their eyes were Barry Bannan (7.29), Sam Hutchinson (7.25), goalkeeper Keiran Westwood (7.00) and Michael Hector (6.95).

The point doesn’t help our outside Play-Off hopes but that was always a long shot after the year we’ve had, but the continued consistency in performance has to be definitely welcomed as we continue to look to the future.
